A breath of fresh air from beginning to end! I was able to schedule a new patient visit right away - as opposed to the others I had called and had to wait weeks to be seen. No wait in the waiting room, no pages of paperwork to fill out! We chatted about my health history and concerns, and Dr. Hedde gave me the options and left the decisions up to me! Less expensive than your monthly cable bill and much more worth it in terms of having a primary care physician who has time to listen and get to know you. Will be staying with this practice and recommending it to my friends and family.

I've had Dr. Hedde as my doctor for a couple of years now, and my experience has been great! It's really great having such easy access to a doctor by email any time I have a question or not feeling well. Dr. Hedde generally gets back to my emails within a few hours. I highly recommend Direct Doctors.

Dr. Jim Hedde is truly one of a kind! He is one of the most down-to-earth and caring doctors that you will ever come across. He is the opposite of the aloof and distant doctor. He truly cares about your wellbeing and treats you as a unique person, not just a name on a list he has to get through. He really takes the time to listen and understand what is going on with your health. I've been seeing Dr. Jim for years now and I couldn't recommend him more highly!

Dr. Delaporta is simply amazing. She listens to us clearly at every appointment and asks intuitive questions of our kids. She is responsive and knowledgeable and so very kind. We will never leave Dr. Delaporta or Direct Doctors. Best practice ever.

I will start with, I was not a doctor person, however now knowing there are quality doctors like Dr Hedde at Direct Doctors, not involved with the insurance industries, that care more about their patients than making money, I can honestly say I am very happy to have the peace of mind knowing, if I need a doctor, I now have one that I can contact whenever I may need to. Dr Hedde is so awesome! She is very attentive and not pushy at all. She listened to my concerns and was super supportive. I have recommended her already to many people. My whole family will be joining very soon as well. I highly recommend anyone in need of a new doctor, try out this hidden gem- Direct Doctors. You will not be disappointed!!

A new way to approach primary care that works for both patients & providers. Dr. Hedde is available to respond to my medical concerns in a timely fashion. If he is not available his partners also respond quickly. Very reassuring. He gives you options with risks & benefits to each option explained clearly. A distinctly different experience from the industrial medical care offered by other group practices. He takes time to listen to his patients. Unique! Works well for me and my partner! Highly recommended!

Dr. Lauren Hedde is fantastic. I've been seeing her at Direct Doctors for about four years. Dr. Hedde response to me within hours, if not minutes, every time I reach out to her. She is accessible and warm, plus very informed and knowledgeable in all the ways you want your doctor to be. Highly recommend her and this practice.

Finding Direct Doctors has been such a relief for me. I am an independent business owner, so my schedule is crazy. It's nice to be able to go onto the website and be able to find a time that works for me. There's no more waiting in stuffy waiting rooms, no more dealing with confusing health insurance companies, and no more waiting MONTHS to get in to see my doctor! Dr. Lauren Hedde has been professional, friendly, and my experience with her has been fantastic. It's like chatting with a friend when I go. I have recommended her to everybody I've spoken to who has mentioned being unhappy with their current doctor. I've never had very good luck with doctors myself! I just said this morning that I love my doctor and how nice it is that I can finally say that! I never feel pressured or judged, and the office atmosphere is comforting and inviting, as well, which is something you don't always find at a regular doctor's office. I could go on and on and on. I highly recommend Direct Doctors, 110%!

Dr. Lauren Hedde is a fantastic doctor and her practice is incredible! I've met some of the other doctors over the years (Jim Hedde, Dr. Lakin and Dr. Delaporta) and they are equally as wonderful. Her response times are quick, she's compassionate, and stays educated and up to date on new medical information and literature. I can't say enough good things about this practice -- I am so grateful that I share a family doc with my little one, as well.

I went for my first appointment at the Direct Doctors location in East Greenwich, and I can assure you that it is HIGHLY different from a standard practice office. The last Ob-Gyn practice I went to was absolutely fine, but Dr. Kunkel's new office is welcoming and comfortable. The visit was warm, friendly, slow-paced, we had time to have real discussions, and I am absolutely looking forward to exploring the other services that are included in my plan. Can you even think about looking forward to a medical appointment? I spent a lot of my childhood unwell, and no matter how much I love my doctors, the anxiety is still there - but today I felt as comfortable as I think I could ever feel in a medical setting. I am glad I made this decision. I am glad to have Dr. Erin Kunkel looking after me.
